To celebrate an anniversary of anything is an acknowledgement of continuity, of endurance; a renewal of vows or commitments, an appreciation of the longevity of the event memorialized.
To celebrate the 107th year of the existence of this Church Family is awesome and humbling.
North Park CME has had many visionary leaders in its 107 years of existence. We should be grateful for each and every one because they have guided us to this day, and have set the foundation for tomorrow.
God has blessed our Church home, and we were blessed with a wonderful day of celebration.
There is nothing more precious than the continuity of the Church Family, made solid with the foundation of faith. Blessed is the Church that is united in Christ. They shall endure tempests; yet be strengthened, not weakened.
OK, sometimes your webmaster is in a poetic mood. But I can't help but feel blessed to be a part of this Church Family. I love each and every one of you, my Sisters and Brothers at North Park.
God bless Bishop Cunningham and his lovely wife Clarice and daughter Bridgette for taking the time out from a busy schedule to bring a message of the Word to us on this special day!
